Our first exposure to Dave Cunnings' hardwood craft was in 1992, when we worked with him to install and finish approximately 2,500 sq ft of white oak flooring in a new country house. The material used was 2 1/4” x 3/4” solid white oak. The finish was a water based , low VOC , super durable urethane finish. The result was a very elegant , aesthetically pleasing , non-allergenic , and highly valuable flooring  that would last for many decades, and as a solid wood through out, could be refinished up to 4x in the future.
